Florescence: To flower, bloom, or grow.
At Florescence Counseling LLC, I work collaboratively with adults and teens navigating OCD, trauma, and addictions/substance use, using a holistic blend of cognitive and somatic-based therapies. These challenges often overlap, but they don’t have to co-occur to be part of your story—or to be welcome here. This practice is grounded in the belief that healing is possible when care is personalized, compassionate, and honors the whole person. While you may carry or receive a diagnosis, I see you as more than a label. I value each person’s strengths, story, and individuality, and strive to foster empathy and connection beyond medical definitions. I’m here to walk alongside you on your path to recovery and self-discovery.
Therapy here is tailored to you, drawing from a mix of evidence-based approaches—including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Inference-Based CBT (ICBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Whether you're looking for something more structured or more exploratory, we’ll find the right fit—virtually or in person in Wexford, PA.
This is an LGBTQIA+, polyamory, Black, Indigenous, and people of color affirming space where all parts of you are welcome. I strive to create a respectful, nonjudgmental environment where individuals of all identities, faith backgrounds, neurotypes, values, and walks of life feel safe, seen, and supported.
